11  Grebenkin D.A. Natural milking is guaranteed profit

Natural milking is the process of milk getting by a calf from a cow. With the natural milking udder health of the cow always remains at a high level. Such a milking system ensures the best care for the nipple skin and its sphincter (at the expense of nipple massage quality) that provides a quick and painless milking, comfortable for cows. The purpose of machine milking is a simulation of the calf sucking process. This article will focus on a new way of milking with the milking machine AktivePuls, in which is pronounced the nipple massage and the imitation of natural milking. AktivePuls became a breakthrough in machine milking and was presented at the international exhibition EVROTIER 2014, where it immediately received a silver medal of the German farmer's Association DLG. Key words: cows, milking, milking machine, natural milking, nipple massage.

21  Yuzhakov A.G., Bogdanovа O.Yu., Grebennikova T.V., Hametova K.M., Musienko M.I., Verhovskij O.A., Aliper T.I., Zaberezhnyj A.D., Guljukin M.I. Experimental Schmallenberg virus infection of lambs and evaluation test system based on real-time PCR to detect viral RNA

Schmallenberg disease (SD) is a new viral infection of ruminants characterized by fever, diarrhea, abortion, birth of non-viable and/or malformed lambs and calves with joint malformations, scoliosis, torticollis and/or hydrocephaly. The infection is caused by an RNA virus (SBV) of Orthobunyavirus genus (Bunyaviridae family) and is related to the Simbu serogroup. The purpose of the present study was to re-create SD infection under experimental conditions using a viral strain isolated in Western Europe and to develop an RT-PCR assay to detect SBV RNA as well as to assess the distribution of SBV across the tissues and organs in infected lambs. The MU-2013 strain kindly provided by professor J.M. Sanchez-Vizcaino of Complutense University of Madrid (Spain) was used to infect the animals. Serum samples were analyzed with Ingezim Schmallenberg, a commercially available SBV antibody ELISA kit manufactured by Ingenasa (Spain). A reverse transcription real-time PCR (RT-qPCR) assay for detection of viral RNA in serum and organs of infected animals was developed. A plasmid containing a green fluorescent protein gene was used as an internal control alongside primers and the probe synthesided for its amplification. For reference purposes German-made primers and probe recommended by OIE we also used. Experimental infection of lambs with Schmallenberg disease resulted in a short period of viremia (2 - 4 days) and an almost complete absence of clinical signs. The virus was found to be circulating in the lymphatic system, particularly in the spleen, submandibular and premaxillary lymph nodes. Key words: Schmallenberg virus, real-time PCR, experimental infection.

Anthelmintic drug Ritril including Ricobendazole and Triclabendazole demonstrated 98 – 100 % efficacy in treatment of monieziosis, dictyocaulosis, nematodiroses and strongylatosis of gastrointestinal tract. Trichocephala spp., Dicrocoelia spp. and Fasciola spp. were more resistant to the Ritril. Therefore it is recommended to use the drug at a higher dose 1,6 ml/10 kg of body weight. 36  Andreeva J.N. Monimax® is perfect coccidiostat

Experience the modern bird cross ROSS 308 convincingly proved that Monimax® is a unique synergistic combination ionophore coccidiostat monensin and chemical drug nicarbazin. The product provides an additional gain of body weight of the bird and improves the feed conversion ratio compared with the "classical" monotherapies and the combination of narasin/nicarbazin. It is highly effective against coccidia, fully preserving the intestinal health and growth energy of the body. It is completely safe and non-toxic at a dose of 75 ppm. Monomax® is produced in the form of microgranulate, which provides excellent flowability and mixability it with food. Active substance (monensin and nicarbazin) protected by a shell, they are gradually released throughout the intestine, influencing coccidia. Key words: coccidiosis, Monimax® Total Mean Lesion Score, conversion of a forage.
