9          Sereda A.D., Goghin A.E.  Analysis system of control and elimination African swine fever in the Russian Federation

The system of prevention of spread and eradication of African swine fever (ASF) is analyzed on example of 5 subjects of the Russian Federation. It is noted that along with the positive effects of the program performance (in particular reduction of pig population for small-scale producers with low biosafety levels and increase the scales of testing ASF in domestic pigs and wild boars), there was decline the funding these programs from regional budgets, gaps infection control programs are identified and proposals for their improvement at the federal and regional levels are present. Key words: african swine fever, control program.

Mortality of Bison bonasus in the Oka State Biosphere Reserve bison nursery in 1960 – 2013 years ranged from 2,0 to 10,2 % of the total number herd, in average 5,9 % per year. Death of calves’ elderly about one year reached 53.9%, the animals from 1 to 4 years – 15,6 %, from 4 to 15 years – 15,6 %, and over 15 years – 14,9 %. The main causes of mortality bison were: traumatism (48,5 %), helminth infections (8, 2 %), diseases of the gastrointestinal tract (6 %), death of newborn calves as a result of umbilical cord rupturing (6 %) and the lack of milk in mothers (6, 7 %). Key words: Bison bonasus, Oka Reserve, causes of mortality.

In addition to typical antibiotic effect, new generations of macrolides also have three other properties; anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory and anti-viral activity. These important properties of macrolides are validated by researchers and practitioners who explored the application of macrolides for viral infections especially against Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome virus (PRRSV) which is appeared primarily by lesions of the respiratory system in pigs and abortions in sows. Key words:sows, virus, antibiotic effect, macrolides.

Presents the problems of allocation of non-tuberculousmycobacteria from reacting animals and of identification nonspecific reaction to tuberculin in diagnosis of tuberculosis in cattle. Specified methods of differentiation of nonspecific reactions and possible ways to improve the simultaneous test with PPD- tuberculin for mammals and CAM.  Key words:atypical mycobacteria, non-tuberculousmycobacteria, simultaneous test,PPD for mammals, PPD for birds, CAM, CAM-2, accelerated simultaneous test, assessment of response, individual accounting, group accounting.

26        Poshvina D.V., Shchepitova N.E., Sycheva M.V.,  Utkina T.M., Kartashova O.L.  Species characteristics and factors of persistence of enterococci isolated  from animals in health and disease

Using polymerase chain reaction determined the species composition of cultures of enterococci isolated from animals in health and disease. First discovered a new property Enterococcus sp. – anti-carnosine activity. The expression of this trait, as well as anti-lysozyme activity varied depending on the species of enterococci and habitat selection. Key words: Enterococcus sp., factors of persistence, anti-lysozyme activity, anti-carnosine activity.

30        Mezencev  S.V. Salmonellosis – national and import

Salmonellas are widespread in the environment and in herds of productive animals. Most of them, except S. enteritidis and S. typhimurium, have a narrow host range. S. infantis is rarely isolated from farm animals In the Russian Federation. Despite this there are marked increase in the incidence of its infection in people. There is reason to assume that the number of salmonella serovars (including S. infantis) come into the country with imported food and raw materials. Key words: salmonellosis, cattle, people, pigs, poultry.

INVASIVE DISEASES

33        Engashev S.V., MoskalievV.G., ErmilovI.V. Experience of treatment and prevention of canine dirofilarioses

The results of monitoring of heartworm in dogs in the Kursk region in 2012 – 2014 and testing the efficacy of Dironet at this invasion are present in the article. Key words: Dironet, dirofilarioses, ivermectin, microfilariae, antiparasitic drug, dog.

36        Andreyanov O.N. To differential diagnostics zoonozis of trade animals

There were found encapsulated larva Macracanthorhynchus satulinus under the abdominal pleura or in the connective tissue between the peritoneal muscle layers of stone martens and 2weasels.The diameter of the capsules was 3,1±0,26 mm. After opening their shells viable larvae are released from the capsule; their length was 1,2±0,13 cm. Comparative assessment of blood composition in young cattle of simmental breed and its hybrid with zebu was conducted. Although in both groups of animals the determined parameters did not came beyond out the physiological norm, but they are influenced by the origin and age of the animals, as well as the season of the year. A higher level of hematological parameters in рhybrid cattle had a positive influence on intensity of growth and development.
