23 Yurov K.P., Alexeyenkova S.V., Pchelnikov A.V., Simanova I.N. Ethiological structure of acute bovine herpesviral infection
In 2011 – 2016 years in several commercial and large-scale farms in the period of outbreaks of acute respiratory infection from calves, viral strains were isolated and identified as bovine alphaherpesvirus type 5 by phylogenetic analysis. It is assumed that due to close similarity of antigens and genome structure, this virus can in some cases be mistakenly identified as the causative agent of the infectious bovine rhinotracheitis. A phylogenetic analysis of the virus isolates indicates that they are close to the "non-a-non-b" subtype of bovine herpesvirus of type 5. Key words: bovine alphaherpesviruses, infectious bovine rhinotracheitis, bovine herpesvirus type 5, nucleotide sequencing, PCR, phylogenetic analysis.
28 Poryvaeva A.P., Pechura E.V., Nurmiyeva V.R. Rhinocytogram in calves with infectious respiratory diseases
The percentage of neutrophils, lymphocytes, eosinophils and epithelial cells was determined in smears-prints from the mucous membrane of the nasal cavity of 35 calves with diseases of the upper respiratory tract. It was found that in the nasal mucosa of 14 clinically healthy calves flat epithelial cells predominated (up to 48,16±1,31 %), the number of leukocyte cells was 20 – 22 % and goblet epithelial cells – 12,6±0,94 %. 11 calves with PG-3 infection had an increase relative number of lymphocytes up to 19,4±1,2 %, cells of the goblet epithelium – up to 24,3±1,7 % (p≤0,05). These observations and the results of clinical and laboratory studies confirmed the inadequacy of a complex of specific and nonspecific factors of nasal mucosa protection in calves infected by VPI-3. 10 calves with bacterial infection had in the rhinocytogram in addition to an increase in the number of neutrophils up to 29,2±1,9 %, a significant increase in the number of eosinophils up to 12,7±1,3 % (p≤0,05). A change in the composition of epithelial cells was also observed in these animals: the number of squamous epithelial cells decreased 2,4 times, goblet cells in 1,4 times. The revealed results local disturbances of the mucosa and in the submucosal layer of the nasal passages in calves with infectious respiratory diseases. Key words: infection, lymphocytes, neutrophils, parainfluenza, respiratory diseases, rhinocytogram, calves, cytomorphology, eosinophils, epithelial cells.

INVASIVE DISEASES
39 Dashinimaev B.Ts., Boiarova L.I. Species composition of horse's digestive tract parasites in Zabaikalsky region
The results of study the distribution and species composition of mixed infestations digestive tract of horses in the Zabaikalsky region are received. The present study has showed that gadfly and helminth infections of the digestive tract of horses in this region are widespread. These parasites affect animals with extent of infestation 90,0 and 90,7 % respectively. Helminthes of the gastrointestinal tract of horses are represented by 43 species (42 nematodes and 1 cestoda). 18 species of helminths were identified for the first time in the Zabaikalsky region. It was observed that of the most numerous species of collected nematodes were from family Trichonematidae (93,56 %). All examined young animals up to 2 years were infested with helminthes. Their intensity of infection was up 512153 samples. Although all adult horses were infested, they had lower intensity of the infestation than young horses – 84480 samples. The maximum extents of infestation were detected in horses, which inhabit in forest steppe zone. Gastric gadfly have 5 species of which Gastrophilus intestinalis (large gastric gadfly) is most numerous (48,2 %). Key words: cestodes, extensiveness of invasion, helminthes, gastric botfly, horse, intensity of invasion, nematodes.

The article provides an introductory statistics on dirofilaria on the territory of the Russian Federation. Two cases of dirofilaria in dogs in Kaluga Region which happened over the period between 2016 have been described. This shows the stationary type of infestation on this territory. Comparative efficacy of application of hormonal (gonadoliberin, gonadotropin, progesterone) and nonhormonal (Sat-Som) preparations for the prophylaxis of intrauterine growth restriction and embryo death in lactating dairy cows was studied. High efficacy of complex application of Progestamag and Sat-Som preparations is demonstrated. Key words: cows, intrauterine growth restriction and embryo death, prophylaxis, Progestamag, Sat-Som.
50 Denisenko V.Yu., Kuzmina T.I. Biotesting of the donor oocytes functional status of Sus scrofa domesticus
There were monitored the parameters of fluctuations in calcium content in porcine oocytes depending on their functional status. Significant differences in indicators of the fluorescence intensity of chlorotetracycline-membrane-calcium complex in growing oocytes and oocytes that have finished growth phase at the action of hormones and nucleotides were revealed. Additional exit of Ca2+ was found in oocytes that have finished growth phase under the action of prolactin and GTP, as well as GH and GTP. In the growing oocytes the above effect was not observed. A method for biotesting the stage of the completeness growth phase of porcine oocytes was proposed based on the data obtained. Key words: oocytes of pigs, calcium.

58 Grechko V.V., Khonin G.A., Sul'din E.V., Koshkin I.N., Avdeev D.B. Epidural anesthesia by Novocaine: efficacy and influence on the physiological state of rats
The effectiveness of epidural anesthesia (EA) was studied in the experiment on rats. Before it was carried, the animals were immobilized with medetomidine, and after blockade an 0,5 % solution of antimedine was injected intramuscularly to relieve the sedation. EA was performed by inoculation of 2 % solution of Novocaine in a dose of 0,5 ml between the sixth lumbar vertebra (L6) and the first sacral vertebrae (S1). A single injection of Novocaine in the epidural space provided a complete anesthesia in 75 % and partial anesthesia in 25 % of the rats. After repeated EC these rates were 90 and 10 %, and after the third EA – 60 and 40 %, respectively. One- and two-fold administration of anesthetic caused a slight deviation in the respiratory rate in animals, but during the third EA this negative effect was much more pronounced (decrease in the frequency of respiratory movements up to 75 – 90). Key words: anesthesia, novocaine, epidural blockade.
LABORATORY PRACTICE
62 Baratov M.O., Sakiribirov O.P. Improvement of the nutrient medium for the cultivation of Corynebacterium
The nutrient medium is the main factor of the quality of the bacteriological method. Therefore, it is very important when choosing the media to take into account the need of microorganisms for nutrients necessary to maintain their vital functions. A large number of nutrient media with a wide range of inorganic salts and meat hydrolysates, prepared often with a violation of the balance between the components without taking into account the growth properties, are proposed. The use of these factors introduces uncontrolled factors into the laboratory robot. For normal development, microorganisms need micro- and macro elements that participate in the formation of coenzymes, through which proteins, fats and carbohydrates are hydrolyzed to simpler and more soluble compounds available for assimilation by a microbial cell. Inorganic compounds are part of the microbial cell, cytoplasm and create the necessary physicochemical conditions for microorganisms in the nutrient medium. Key words: geothermalwater, corinebacteria, cultivation, nutrientmedia.
