EXPERIMENT, PROBLEMS, PERSPECTIVES

8 Balagula T.V., Makarov D.A., Lavrukhina O.I. About the development of the state food safety monitoring system

The food safety government activities in the Russian Federation and abroad includes food products and raw materials analysis named monitoring. The main purpose of the state monitoring is the compliance control of contaminants in food with the legislative permissible levels for the sale of unsafe products prevention, and contamination source identification and elimination. The monitoring programs carried out by the competent authorities of Russia (Rosselkhoznadzor) and Germany (BVL) are compared in this paper. A particular place in the planning and implementation of routine analysis has a risk-based approach when the analysis quantity for various products depends on non-compliance regulated safety criteria identification. In practice the functioning system is effective, including a new risk prevention, but there is a necessity of unification, criteria and principles of the risk-based approach definition, and its promotion.  Key words: food safety, monitoring, risk-based approach.

15 Gulukin A.M., Shabeikyn A.A., Patrikeev V.V., Parshikova A.V., Tsaregradskiy P.Y., Shabeykina M.V. Features of the epizootic process of rabies in the Eastern part of the European nosoareal

The European nosoareal of rabies occupies a wide territory in the eastern part of the continent, forming an almost continuous geographical surface in the distribution of outbreaks of the disease. The western borders of the European nosoareal of rabies are provided by the buffer zone of oral vaccination of wild carnivores in the EU countries, from the north and east the nosoareal is limited by natural barriers: boreal forests of the taiga zone and the Ural mountain range. Formed by natural factors, the border of the eastern part of the European nosoareal of rabies passes through the Volga Federal District, which unites regions that differ significantly in intensity and stability of the epizootic process of rabies. The analysis of the spatio-temporal dynamics of the development of the epizootic situation on the territory of the Volga Federal District showed the nature of the influence of natural landscapes and associated biomes on the formation of the main parameters of the manifestation of rabies epizootics: the density of the spatial distribution of natural foci of the disease, the species composition of diseased animals, the annual incidence, the cyclicity of epizootics. The revealed patterns provide a better understanding of the key factors that ensure the stability of the epizootic process of rabies throughout the Eastern European Plain. Key words: rabies, nosoareal, Volga Federal District, spatial analysis, geoinformation technologies, GIS.

The results of a study of the infestation of fish in the Saratov reservoir with the nematode Raphidascaris acus are presented. 18 species of fish take part in the implementation of the life cycle of the parasite (own and literary data). The main intermediate hosts of helminth are fish that feed on benthos. The absence of clinical signs of hydrobiont disease indicates the absence of an outbreak of raphidascariasis in the studied reservoir. Key words: Raphidascaris acus, infestation, fish, Saratov reservoir.

OBSTTETRICS, GYNECOLOGY

36 Kashkovskaya L.M., Bobkova M.V., Bondar A.V. Effective synchronization of the sexual cycle of cows with the use of modern Russian drugs

The drug Fergolin in the scheme of synchronization of estrus in cows showed high efficiency. It was expressed in ovulation in 85,2 % of animals after the use of the drug in the OvSynch scheme, as well as successful insemination of 79,6 % of the livestock. At the same time, the fertilization index was 1,26, which indicates a positive effect of the drug in the synchronization scheme on the reproduction of livestock due to the mild regulation of the sexual cycle. Key words: sexual cycle, cows, Fergolin, gonadorelin, ovulation, estrus synchronization.

NONINFETIOUS DISEASE

42 Plemyashov K.V., Semenov B.S., Kuznetsova T.Sh., Korochkina E.A., Nikitin V.V., Khusainova G. S. Krutikova A.A. The clinical case of abomasal displacement in a calf

The displacement of the abomasum in dairy cows is diagnosed relatively often and due attention is paid to its diagnosis and treatment. In the work, the authors pay attention to the other side of the problem. The disease displacement of the abomasum can also be diagnosed in animals of a different age group – in calves. In the available domestic literature, there isn't information on the displacement of the abomasum in calves, and in recent years, isolated cases of diagnosing this disease in calves have been described in foreign literature. The aim of the study was to diagnose the displacement of the abomasum in the calf and to test the effectiveness of the surgical method of treatment using a trocar. The object of the study was a calf, age 24 days, Swiss breedю The body weight is about 56 kg. The calf was kept in the general group (n=20). The diagnosis was made on the basis of clinical signs of the disease, taking into account the results of percussion and auscultation in the area of localization of the abomasum (expansion of the scar, atony of the proventriculus, lack of appetite, impaired defecation). Surgical treatment of a calf with displaced abomasum proved to be quite effective and ensured its recovery. Rehabilitation after surgery with the use of complex postoperative treatment took place in a short time – within 3 – 5 days and without complications. Key words: displacement of the abomasum, calves, symptoms of the disease, diagnosis, surgical treatment.

PHARMACOLOGY AND TOXICOLOGY

47 Tyurin V.G., Semenov V.G., Nikitin D.A., Boronin V.V., Kolesnichenko I.S. The effect of immunoflor on the morphological parameters of eggs of laying hens

In recent years, due to the ban on the use of antibiotics as growth promoters in many countries, there has been a growing interest in poultry production in alternative products, including probiotics. This is due not only to their immunomodulatory ability, but also to the recognition of these products. Probiotics are substances that can stabilize the intestinal microflora and control the reproduction of pathogens. This paper highlights the results of a study on the use of the domestic complex probiotic preparation Immunoflor, developed by PK KROS Pharm LLC, for Dekalb White egg cross hens in the production of food eggs. The work was carried out in the conditions of the SHPK "Gornomariskaya Poultry Farm" of the Republic of Mari El. In the course of the scientific and economic experiment, it was found that eggs from laying hens with the largest mass, more close to ideal in shape, were obtained in the 1st and 2nd experimental groups. Indicators of mass, elastic deformation of the shell, protein index were higher in the experimental groups relative to the control. By the end of the productive period, the yolk index was higher in the 1st and 2nd experimental groups than in the control by 0,12 (P<0,001) and 0,7 % (P<0,05), respectively. In the eggs of the 1st and 2nd experimental groups, relative to the control, an increase in the height of the protein, an indicator of Howe units, was noted. Thus, against the background of the application of the complex probiotic preparation Immunoflor to young birds, the mass of eggs increased, their morphological parameters improved, and the feeding of the tested preparation with water gave a greater positive effect than when it was introduced into the feed. Key words: probiotic preparation Immunoflor, chickens, eggs, mass, egg shape index, air chamber height, elastic deformation of the shell, Howe units.
