21 Arakelyan P.K., Gayvoronskaya Yu.E., Rudenko A.V., Ilin E.N., Dimova A.S., Dimov S.K., Yanchenko T.A. Serological reactivity of healthy sheep immunized against brucellosis with a live vaccine from the strain B. abortus 19
After subcutaneous immunization and reimmunization of sheep with a live agglutinogenic vaccine from the B. abortus 19 strain, due to a long post-vaccination response, the use of RA and CBR in the serological diagnosis of brucellosis becomes almost impossible. In the study of blood serums from livestock immunized with this vaccine, in a IDR with O-PS A-antigen (made from B. abortus) and O-PS M-antigen (made from B. melitensis), a negative result of a IDR with only O-PS M-antigen allows us to conclude about the well-being of a particular flock for brucellosis. The presence of objective evidence of the absence of epizootic threats of brucellosis in a particular farm may be the basis for refusing to vaccinate animals against this disease. In the presence of epizootic threats, preventive immunization of sheep against brucellosis remains necessary. An alternative to subcutaneous immunization of animals with a vaccine from strain 19 is provided by the conjunctival method of its administration, with the help of which it is possible to avoid post-vaccination seropositivity and provide reliable immunity. Key words: small cattle, sheep, brucellosis, specific prevention, live vaccines, RA and CBR, IDR with O-PS antigens.

27 Marinin L.I., Tyurin E.A., Shishkova N.A., Mironova R.I., Mokrievich A.N., Dyatlov I.A. Preservation of viability by the causative agent of anthrax in animal corpses and meat products
The article deals with the possibility of preserving the viability of the causative agent of anthrax in animal corpses and meat products. As practice shows, the corpse of an animal that died from anthrax is not only a factor in the transmission of the causative agent of the disease, but can serve as a direct cause of human infection. In the vegetative form, the pathogen was not detected on the fourth or eighth day, while when storing corpses in a refrigerator, the pathogen persisted for up to eleven days. The longest pathogen persisted in the bone marrow. During the specified periods of observation of spore formation was not noted. When storing meat obtained from an anthrax animal, spores are formed on the meat, the timing of which depends on the temperature conditions of storage. Key words: anthrax, vegetative forms, spores, shelf life, safety.

32 Shemelkov E.V., Aliper T.I., Kulikova T.S., Kunakov K.Yu., Bulgakov A.D., Verkhovsky O.A. Selection of an adjuvant for subunit marker vaccine against classical swine fever
Within the present study experimental samples of a marker vaccine against classical swine fever (CSF) were tested and the results of their comparative evaluation are presented. The vaccine samples had been prepared from recombinant CSFV protein E2 and a variety of adjuvants: carbomer, ISA 660, ISA 28R, Gel 02R («Seppic», France). The trials revealed that all four samples of the vaccine were safe in CSFV’s naturally susceptible hosts (piglets). Pronounced local reactions were not observed post vaccination, and the general state of health of the animals remained satisfactory. Evaluation of the antigenic and immunogenic activity of the experimental vaccine samples showed that the product with the highest efficacy was the one containing ISA 28R as adjuvant, as its administration resulted in 100% survival of the animals after challenge with virulent CSFV. Animals from this group demonstrated the quickest restoration of daily weight gains after challenge. They were securely protected from viremia and virus proliferation in lymphoid organs. Vaccine samples prepared using other adjuvants were shown to be less efficacious. Key words: adjuvants, мKeywords.

41 Engashev S.V., Engasheva E.S., Kolesnikov V.I., Koshkina N.A., Filimonov D.N. Efficiency of the preparation DELCID® 7,5 against ixodic mites and biping insects on goats
The use of insectoacaricidal preparations to combat animal ectoparasites in veterinary medicine is an integral part of veterinary measures. Arthropods parasitize animals, causing inflammation of the skin and other uncomfortable sensations, and are also carriers of blood-parasitic diseases. In the Stavropol Territory, on 20 heads of goats, breed – Zaanenskaya, live weight 38 – 45 kg, the repellent and insectoacaricidal efficacy of the drug DELCID® 7,5 against ectoparasites was studied. Experimental studies were carried out in the flock of the individual entrepreneur M. Magomedov, in the village of. Kholodnogorka, Shpakovsky district. The drug was applied to dry and intact skin of the back, from the head to the base of the tail, along the spine, once at a dose of 10 ml/animal. The calculation of insectoacaricidal efficacy was carried out on the basis of a decrease in the number or absence of ixodid ticks and dipterans in treated animals in comparison with untreated animals. To establish the period of insectoacaricidal and repellent action of the drug, we used the method of visual inspection and palpation of each animal with an interval of 7 days for 42 days. The duration of the repellant action was assessed as the time during which the COP (coefficient of repelling action) decreased to 70 % and below. According to the results of the studies, DELCID® 7,5 at a dose of 10 ml/animal showed high insectoacaricidal efficacy against dipterans (zoophilic flies – Musca family) and ixodid ticks (Dermacentor marginatus, Haemaphisalis punctate). The animals were completely rid of dipterans and ixodid ticks after 3 days. The repellent effect of DELCID® 7,5, in which the CODE was above 70 %, lasted 28 days against ixodid ticks and 35 days against dipterans. Key words: ectoparasites, ticks, goats, insectoacaricides.

45 Ibrahimova R.Sh., Rzayev N.M. Measures against the influence of helmints of pets on the productivity of ruminants in Azerbaijan
With a view to specify the negative effects of the domestic carnivores (the stray dogs and cats) helminths on biodiversity and its productivity, stool samples from 457 stray dogs were studied and found to have 31 types of the helminth parasites, 7 of which were in sheep, 6 in goats, 5 in camels, 7 in cattle, 4 in buffaloes, 2 in zebus, 8 in swine, 3 in horses and 3 in water birds. Besides, 85 small-horn animals (58 sheep, 27 goats) and 59 cattle were studied and there were found 4 teniidiosis larvae (T. hydatigena, T. ovis, E. granulosus, M. multiceps) spread in the various extensiveness and intensity. For now is quite urgent and practically significant to put preventive measures into practice with a view to specify adverse effects of the helminth parasites on biodiversity and its productivity and to reduce its negative effects. Key words: stray dogs, domestic cats, small-horn animals and cattle, stool samples biodiversity, helminth.

51 Fedotov S.V., Sidnev N.Yu., Gade Regan Reddy, Sakr Fouad, Yakhaev I.M. Modern methods for diagnosing mastitis in cows under conditions of intensive production
PCR tests were used to diagnose this pathology in cows with suspected mastitis, kept in two complexes of Lednevo JSC, Yuryev-Polsky district, Vladimir region, with extensive and intensive livestock breeding. With an extensive form of development of the complex, the microorganisms Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus uberis, Mycoplasma mycoides and Chlamydiaceae were more often isolated in milk in the form of associations. E. coli was identified in most samples in monoculture (9,01%). In animals suffering from mastitis, with loose housing (intensive method), coccal microflora prevailed in milk. In addition, the dependence of the quality, physicochemical and technological properties, as well as microbiological and sanitary and hygienic indicators of milk on the pathology of the mammary gland was established, which can be used as an additional test in the diagnosis of subclinical mastitis. Real-time PCR has higher sensitivity and specificity than traditional methods. Key words: PCR diagnostics, milk, Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus uberis, Mycoplasma mycoides, Chlamydiaceae, subclinical mastitis.
